• 【No Power Supply】The package contains only a 5-meter 940nm LED strip light and accessories. Please prepare a 12V ≥88W power supply or adapter. One end of this 940nm NIR LED strip has bare wire leads, while the other end has a DC female plug. This DC light strip can be powered by hard wiring or by plugging in an adapter.
• 【940 nm Light is Invisible】This 12V flexible NIR LED strip primarily emits invisible 940nm infrared light. Even in complete darkness, you cannot see any light. However, when using some mobile phones to take photos and videos, you can see a faint pink glow from the 5050 three-in-one LED.
• 【Bendable LED Strip with Adhesive】940 nm IR LED strip is soft and bendable, easily fitting curved surfaces. It comes with a strong sticky backing. The installation is quick and easy. However, this 940nm light strip is not waterproof, so please install it in a dry environment.
• 【Cut to Size】940 NIR LED strip can be cut to size. Please cut strictly along the black lines on the board. The minimum cutting distance is 50mm/1.96in (3 light beads). You can also extend length by connecting multiple strips together using the included connectors. (Recommended maximum length for series connection is 10 m/32.8ft.)
• 【940 nm NIR Applications】940nm wavelength enables completely covert surveillance (zero visible glow). It is widely used in security surveillance, electronic identification, ecological research without interference observation, industrial machine vision quality inspection and so on.
• 【48W Actual Measured Power】This 940nm IR LED strip is rated at 72W theoretically (based on 5050 LEDs at 0.24W each, 60 LEDs/meter × 5m = 72W power). In actual 5m use with double-end powering, it typically draws around 48W due to normal voltage drop—this is expected and not a defect. For maximum power closer to 72W, please cut into shorter sections and connect them in parallel to your power supply.
